JOB TITLE: Cage Cashier
REPORTS TO: Cage Manager
SUPERVISES: None
JOB DECRIPTION: Review gaming shifts paperwork for accuracy. Performs a buy with Main Bank. Verifies all monies from the Count room. Prepares daily deposits. Protects Company assets by accurately recording and reporting all transactions that involve all cash and non cash. Assuring the Cage has sufficient currency in all denominations to meet all transaction needs. Handle money, chips and paperwork, which require mathematical and cash handling abilities. Comply with the Title 31 and the company’s Anti-money laundering plan.
Position Requirements: Must be available all shifts and days
Current Nevada DL or ID w/fingerprints
Previous Cage experience preferred
Gaming License, Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing.
Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Education Required: High school diploma or GED
Physical requirements: Standing, walking sitting and lifting, talking, hearing and good use of fingers and hand and kneel and crouch. Lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience: Previous work experience handling money or operating a cash register. The ability to operate a computer and calculator, customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as a team.
