Cafeteria Manager manages an on site company cafeteria. Oversees operations including ordering, inventory, meal planning, food preparation, and service. Being a Cafeteria Manager ensures operations are in compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations. Manages and trains cafeteria staff. Additionally, Cafeteria Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Cafeteria Manager supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Job Duties:
- Oversee 10 - 15 employees on a daily basis including: hiring, training, discipline, and terminations.
- Prepare weekly menus and recipes to be served to our customers.
- Follow all Food Safety Protocol.
- Complete operating functions such as ordering, inventory management, and scheduling.
- Maintain a positive relationship between VVS and its clients.
- Complete any other tasks related to the overall operation of a commercial kitchen facility.
- Report to VVS Canteen Manager and District Manager on a regular and as needed basis.

Qualifications
- 1 year of management experience in the food service industry.
