    We have an exciting opportunity open for a CRM Coordinator with the opportunity to work hybrid from Fort Smith, AR.



    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The CRM Coordinator will be responsible for leading and coordinating the development and implementation of control room management (CRM) plans, ensuring effective operations and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Safety is the primary concern for any natural gas company that operates a control room. A CRM Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all systems and procedures are followed safely and efficiently. They work to implement best practices for safe operations and help maintain a culture of safety within the control room. The CRM Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all staff in the control room are well trained in the proper operation of systems, procedures, and protocols. They work to identify areas where training can help improve the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of control room operations.

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate and lead the development and implementation of the CRM plan, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.
    • Monitor and review the effectiveness of the CRM plan, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
    • Develop and deliver the newly developed training programs to ensure staff are aware of how to conduct emergency operations, respond to abnormal conditions, and maintain control room operations in compliance with all relevant standards, policies, and guidelines.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other functional groups, including engineering, operations, maintenance, EHS&T, and IT teams, to support the effective implementation of the CRM plan and supporting documents.
    • Ensure that all necessary policies and procedures are developed, reviewed, updated, and maintained to ensure full compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and operating procedures.
    • Ensure that all software, hardware, and other technologies used in the control room are regularly updated, aligned with industry best practices for cybersecurity, and operating efficiently.
    • Develop and implement a system to monitor and review all necessary performance criteria for the control room, ensuring that they are met and maintained over time.

    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

    • A bachelor's degree in business or related field, required.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a control room operations role, with experience. developing and implementing control room management plans.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES 

    • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements, guidelines, and industry best practices relating to control room operations and management.
    • Strong knowledge of industrial automation and SCADA systems, including control system hardware and software, operating experience in power plants, gas processing plants or other petrochemical industries would be an added advantage.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, able to manage difficult or complex situations.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, able to identify and solve issues in a timely manner.
    • Strong project management skills, able to manage complex projects independently.
