Brand CRM team works to help Amazon's Brand Owner Selling Partners improve customer loyalty by engaging the right customer at the right time with the right offer. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed Business Analyst to join our team and own strong and complex analytics and to bring in comprehensive deep dives that help drive the success and growth of our features.
A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of our business, and the ability to translate business requirements into analysis, collect and analyze data, and make recommendations back to the business. The candidate will also continuously learn new systems, tools, and industry best practices to help design new studies and build new tools that help our team automate, and accelerate analytics.
Key job responsibilities
• Oversee financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning. Use data to identify disruptive ideas and provide advice to business leaders across the globe.
• Build reports and analysis utilizing advanced SQL skills.
• Build and drive planning, forecasting, and reporting models.
• Use active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjust style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly. Your communications drive critical business decisions.

Seattle, WA, USA
- 3 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5 years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3 years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- - MBA or Masters in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
- - Expert-level knowledge of SQL
- - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- - Advanced financial modeling & analytical skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
