    JOB SUMMARY

    The Business Analyst position is an in-house role that facilitates the alignment of IT and business objectives. Through the evaluation of data and processes, this role provides data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. The responsibilities of this role include analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, anticipating requirements, and implementing solutions. Maintaining strict confidentiality is a top priority for this role. Given the dynamic nature of the business environment, some of the duties associated with this position may be subject to change.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Gather and analyze data for business decisions by collecting and analyzing data from various sources.
    • Carry out routine analysis as needed to identify areas that require improvement or adjustment.
    • Coordinate with different departmental teams to improve productivity.
    • Implementing business applications.
    • Utilize database management to maximize the value of data assets by ensuring that data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
    • Designing user interfaces for target audiences with attention to detail
    • Programming systems to ensure seamless communication using standardized protocols and APIs.
    • Contribute to the continual review of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
    • Staying up to date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
    • Perform user acceptance testing to identify any defects or issues that may affect the usability, functionality, or performance.
    • Performing data validation routinely by checking data for errors, inconsistencies, and completeness to ensure it meets the required standards.
    • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
    • Documenting and communicating results in a clear and concise manner
    • Serving as a liaison between business, executives, and stakeholders.

    Qualifications


    QUALIFICATIONS

    • A bachelor’s degree in business or related field
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
    • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
    • Advanced technical skills including programming.
    • Understanding of statistics and probability
    • Excellent documentation skills.
    • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • A track record of following through on commitments.
    • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
