CAT Scan Technologist jobs in Wisconsin
CAT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and answers patient questions. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures. Being a CAT Scan Technologist performs obstetric and gynecological scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, CAT Scan Technologist requires completion of radiologic technology training and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. CAT Scan Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. QualificationsQualified candidates will have:
- graduated from an accredited Radiology Training Program,
- be licensed by the state of Wisconsin as a Radiographer within 6 months of hire;
- be ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) registry eligible
- have current Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Required.
