CAD Drafter jobs in Philadelphia, PA
CAD Drafter utilizes computer-aided design (CAD) software and other techniques, standards, and tools to prepare technical drawings. Prepares computer-aided design (CAD) drafts, drawings, and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, blueprints, and sketches. Being a CAD Drafter maintains deadlines, goals, and production standards set by the department. Coordinates and consults with engineers or designers to complete projects. Additionally, CAD Drafter transforms initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software. Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The CAD Drafter work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a CAD Drafter typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. The Civil/CAD Drafter/ Designer will work in a multi-discipline team environment contributing to the production of site, grading, planning, erosion & sedimentation plans, and topographic plans.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

- Land Desktop/ Civil 3D
- Topographic plans
- Erosion/Sedimentation plans
- Earthwork calculations
- Experience doing AutoCAD drafting and design from start to finish
- Must have 2 or more years of experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
