Job Overview:
We are seeking a beginner CAD Drafter to join our team. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating electrical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will work closely with the overall design team to translate their designs into accurate and detailed drawings.
Since we are not in need of a Full time CAD Drafter you will also be tasked with helping facilitate lighting and gear quotes, to include junior estimating skills that can be taught onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Create 2D drawings using CAD software. AutoCAD.
- Review and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches
- Make necessary adjustments to drawings based on feedback from owners/jurisdictional revisions.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and adhere to industry standards and regulations
- Maintain organized files and documentation for easy retrieval
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD
- Understanding of drafting techniques and principles
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
