A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MILLWORK CAD DRAFTER

As a Millwork CAD Drafter, you have the important job of reviewing architectural drawings to assess and improve designs for production. Working in AutoCAD, you interpret renderings, revising as needed to reflect changes to architectural drawings. You enjoy the challenge of working both in 2D and 3D to capture the intricate visual aesthetics of each design.

Navigating AutoCAD comes easily to you, and your extensive knowledge of xrefs, viewports, and blocks enables you to create detailed sets of shop submittal drawings. An excellent communicator, you collaborate with other team members within our engineering department. You're proud that your precise work provides accurate information that results in successful millwork manufacturing!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MILLWORK CAD DRAFTER

• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Proficiency with Excel

Experience in the millwork, carpentry, or construction field is preferred. A mechanical aptitude is a plus! Based on experience, we are willing to train the right candidate.
