Miami Garage Salvage, a salvage yard in Hollywood, FL, is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Catalytic Converter Buyer. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing catalytic converters from customers, ensuring fair pricing, and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess catalytic converters.
• Determine the value of catalytic converters based on market trends and condition.
• Negotiate prices with customers and ensure fair and competitive offers.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize purchasing processes.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of catalytic converters suppliers
• Knowledge and contact with existing junkyards, mufflers shops, etc.
• Previous experience in automotive or scrap metal industry preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
