    JOB SUMMARY:

    This position will manage a defined service territory to ensure corporate response time and KPI standards are met by technicians. The RM role will have 10 field service technicians as direct reports. The candidate must have excellent administrative and computer skills to review and approve PTO, worked hours and expenses within Paylocity. A qualified candidate will be located within the state of South Carolina.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Sales

    • Seek out new maintenance contract and billable service opportunities.
    • Provide leads to sales force for potential opportunities for equipment sales.

    Customer Relations

    • Hold regularly scheduled progress meetings with major accounts.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by taking proactive steps to problem solve as necessary.
    • React to customer complaints and bring to resolution in a timely manner.
    • Ensure timely completion of service calls.
    • Oversee preventive maintenance, ensuring timely completion.

    Employee Relations

    • Represent FSR issues in management meetings.
    • Handle employee relations issues within the regional Service Division, utilizing Human Resources as appropriate.
    • Responsible for the human resource functions of hiring, firing, and performance management to include coaching, progressive disciplinary actions, and terminations
    • Approve PTO, timesheet hours, and expenses
    • Promote teamwork within the division and the Company

    FSR Supervisions

    • Assign and monitor FSR territory coverage to maximize productivity and ensure that corporate response time goals are met.
    • Assign FSR productivity goals.
    • Utilize joint service calls, telephone contacts, customer comments, and work order ticket review to continuously monitor FSR performance for maximum productivity and work quality.
    • Provide technical support to FSRs as required.
    • Conduct ride alongs with FSR.

    Training

    • Coordinate and/or provide necessary training for new products and upgrades to the FSRs.

    Other duties as assigned that fulfill the mission and abide by the values to ensure the success of the company.


    Requirements:

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    Education:

    • Associates Degree in Electronics, equivalent military or trade school
    • Some management coursework preferred

    Experience:

    • 5 years working in industry
    • 1-2 years management experience

    Skills:

    • Evaluate business processes
    • Oversee projects and technicians
    • Identify revenue opportunities
    • Act as liaison for internal and external communications
    • Project Management skills
    • Participate in cross functional groups to develop and implement plan and goals

    ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL-MENTAL FUNCTIONS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

    • Able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
    • Able to properly lift 50 pounds or less frequently, 100 pounds or less occasionally. The highest point of any lift - overhead; the lowest point of any lift - the floor.

    • Able to sit and/or stand 2 hours continuously, up to 8 hours per day. Able to remain on feet for 2 hours continuously.
    • Must be able to manipulate small objects with close eye-hand and arm-hand coordination for entire shift.
    • Able to perform motor skills such as grasping, finger manipulation, pinching, bending, reaching out, twisting, turning, reaching up, wrist turning/torquing for 2 hours continuously.
    • Able to effectively communicate with customer base, both orally and in writing.
    • Able to see objects closely, discriminate colors, perceive depth continuously.
