WMS BSA
Position Description:
A proactive, futuristic mindset, aware of industry leading practices, wide range of WMS systems knowledge and future state warehouse process expert. Add value to business than taking instructions.
Essential Functions:
® Interfaces with Business Stakeholders and IT infrastructure teams to define, gather, and document business processes and needs, and translate into detailed functional specifications for development. Performs business systems and process analysis of existing and future systems/processes. Conducts interviews and requirements gathering workshops. Ensures sign-off of all artifacts.
® Run RFP process working with program manager to evaluate right fit WMS software solution
® Develops base line requirement documents leveraging industry experience (core value add to business), coordinates requirements for new and existing applications. Perform gap analysis, evaluate the out of box solution, provide solution or alternative to fill the gaps, assists in testing, training plan development and training, support for users, and developing user documentation (i.e., web manuals, reference guides, etc.). Participates in QA process; identifies test cases; explains complex processes; aids in developing test plans.
® Conducts root cause analysis using knowledge of applications, interfaces, and technology for defect resolution in a module or subject area.
Primary Work Experience (Required) :
® Must have strong WMS experience (ERP or other 3rd party related), no specific system
® Experience in a distributed team environment preferred.
® Database experience (SQL, Data Warehousing, Oracle, Informix, etc.) preferred.
® Experience working with integrated applications preferred.
® Knowledge of warehouse processes is a must.
