Job Summary
This is a paid summer internship position that supports the Business Development team. The internship role can lead to full-time employment. The position offers an opportunity to gain broad exposure to a range of private asset classes (e.g., private equity, venture capital, real estate) as well as an understanding of the various market participants, including leading institutional investors, fund managers, intermediaries and service providers.
Responsibilities and Duties
Work directly with senior professionals to source, track and convert opportunities related to the firm’s products and services
Manage team resources to organize and conduct marketing and sales campaigns helping to build and maintain new and existing relationships
Prepare potential client follow-up materials and proposals to address monitoring, diligence, valuation and consulting needs
Maintain accurate records and a pipeline related to account interactions, opportunities and client contracts
Contribute to the firm’s various marketing, branding and social media initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
GPA 3.3 and above
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Exceptionally high attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
High self-motivation with ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines
Excellent written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude, energy and overall enthusiasm for private assets, sales and business development
Able to work in office 40 hours a week
