Applied Composites (AC) is seeking a Business System Analyst that provides expertise in planning and designing business Information Systems to improve the workflow, production, and efficiency of the company’s functional systems. Acts as a liaison between the development group and business units in the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing ones.

Job Accountabilities:

Conducts technical business analysis to identify initiatives that will allow the business to meet its’ objectives

Develop and perform maintenance of new and existing test plans in the various application systems that the IT department maintains, such as Epicor ERP and intranet reports (using SSRS)

Interprets business needs and translates them into application and operational requirements.

Documents, coordinates, and plans the modifications or enhancements to software products

Acts as the liaison between the business units, technology teams, and support teams

Collaborates with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

Proactively communicates and collaborates to analyze information needs and functional requirements
-
Plans, promotes, and organizes internal training activities related to new product modifications or enhancements

Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Specifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. Or a High a School Diploma/GED, plus four (4) years of relevant experience and appropriate certifications may be substituted for meeting the educational requirements only.
Years’ Experience: Requires three (3) years of relevant experience and previous experience in developing and maintaining various analysis and reporting tools. Significant work experience in the configuration and or customization of ERP systems. Administration of Windows 10 workstations and Windows 2012 Servers, Epicor preferred.
