Business Systems Analyst - JD Edwards Support (Entry-Level)

Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Analyst with a focus on supporting our JD Edwards enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. In this entry-level role, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes, identifying and documenting requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization and optimization of JD Edwards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mind and a desire to learn and grow in the world of business analysis and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Analyst in JD Edwards related initiatives.
- Analyze and troubleshoot user’s issues with the system providing potential solutions and escalate when necessary to the JD Edwards Business Analyst or the Shared Services JD Edwards support team.
- Support the creation and management of JD Edwards users.
- Analyze and document existing business processes related to JD Edwards modules.
- Gather and understand business requirements for system enhancements and modifications.
- Collaborate with users, developers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements.
- Develop and maintain user documentation for JD Edwards functionalities.
- Conduct system testing and provide feedback to developers.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting using JD Edwards tools.
- Stay up to date on new JD Edwards features and functionalities.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, a related field or 2-year exposure as a Business User in the JD Edwards application.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with basic business analysis methodologies (e.g., Process Mapping, UML, BPMN)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle)
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Programming skills (e.g., SQL, Python).
