Business Systems Analysis Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the analysis of new business system development and existing system improvement. Allocates analysis team resources and monitors deliverables to ensure client needs are met successfully and in a timely fashion. Being a Business Systems Analysis Manager builds test plans and data. Coordinates with other teams to identify and implement new systems to support business function at effective cost. Additionally, Business Systems Analysis Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Business Systems Analysis Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Manager of Business Planning and Analysis

  • Under the direction of the SVP of Strategy, Marketing, and Communications, the Manager of Strategic Initiatives provides business development support by tracking market activity, evaluating competitor behavior, monitoring industry trends, and analyzing internal financial and operational metrics to create a complete picture of the organization’s clinical service lines and divisions. The manager partners closely with executive leadership as a subject-matter expert to provide data and insights on strategic business questions. The Manager partners with Finance to support the development of ROIs on new or expanded business ventures and monitors service line performance through monthly reviews and analyses of various internal and external data and reports.
     
    This role presents a unique opportunity to learn about the business/industry at the highest level and work on impactful projects. Success in this role would require a highly motivated individual who takes the initiative and is looking for a career launchpad in healthcare leadership. The successful candidate is a critical thinker who can analyze data, conduct independent research, and develop solutions and a big-picture innovator who can identify opportunities and is comfortable with ambiguity.
     
    Annual Salary Range: $89,897 - $132,600
     
    Qualifications
    Education:
    • Requires a master’s degree in health administration, business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of a Bachelor’s education and work experience.
    Experience:
    • Requires three (3) years of relevant experience demonstrating an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
    • Requires a proven ability to perform complex analysis with great attention to detail.
    • Previous strategy and basic business/financial modeling experience is preferred.
    • Demonstrated track record working with C-suite executives is preferred.
    • Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
    Certification/Licensure:
    • Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid AZ-issued driver’s license in good standing and must carry the AZ legally required minimum insurance coverage on personal vehicle at all times.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • This position requires a highly organized individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be innovative, highly organized, and self-motivated, with a keen interest in supporting strategic initiatives with key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Must be reliable and able to complete required assignments in a timely fashion.  
    • Requires effective verbal and written communication skills with team members and stakeholders. 
    • Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, be a team player, ability to communicate with diverse personalities, be tactful, mature, and flexible. 
    • Requires the ability to build rapport with others and to work independently and self-manage.
    • Must effectively use Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Must be able and enthusiastic about learning how to effectively use new data and software applications, e.g., Tableau, EPIC reporting tools, etc.
    • Requires the ability to have reliable transportation to travel throughout the community. 
    • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
