WYOMING BUSINESS COUNCIL – STARTUP GRANTS MANAGER
The Startup Grants Manager develops, evaluates, and administers WBC’s startup grant programs designed to invest in venture and high-growth Wyoming based entrepreneurs; specifically, Kickstart: Wyoming, Startup: Wyoming, and the Small Business Research and Innovation (SBIR) programs. Evaluates startup proposals for economic impact, program compliance, and determines WBC’s investment recommendations. Builds relationships with entrepreneurs, businesses, WBC board members, and establishes networks for the purposes of promoting Wyoming investment tools for Wyoming entrepreneurs. Takes an analytical and strategic approach to helping clients achieve their financial goals. The Startup Grants Manager maintains the integrity of all startup investment programs with thorough program knowledge, application options, and targeted analysis.

This team develops and administers programs providing financial support to local governments and assists Wyoming businesses in reaching their financial goals through business and industry analysis, credit analysis, financial due diligence, business plan review, large loan applications, and loan processing and servicing.

This position has the flexibility to be located anywhere in the state of Wyoming. While WBC does have office space in some locations around the state, it may not be an option where you are located. Applicants are advised to be prepared to work from home and travel on occasion.
