Provide support to operational leaders in driving both
operational and financial KPIs to improve performance and productivity in the
region. Develop capacity models, prepare business cases, assist with budgeting
/ forecasting, and perform other FP&A activities to support region in
measuring and driving operational excellence.
Work closely with Operations leaders and their staff to drive performance and monitoring of KPI's and other key objectives / initiatives.
Develop/harmonize how we measure and steer our business, e.g. operational and strategic KPIs, primarily ensure consistent metrics throughout the regional organization (including functional KPIs).
Provide FP&A support for S&OP process, and coordinate with plant controllers and production directors to develop and maintain capacity forecasts.
Serve as Finance point of contact for R&D projects including developing, maintaining, and tracking business cases for new products offerings, product costing analysis and verification, and project management requests, as needed.
Understand drivers/actions beyond the numbers, provide insight and make recommendations for actions to management and other stakeholders with clear objective to continuously improve financial performance.
Help improve decision making by creating a culture of P&L ownership and cost follow up in the region and help regional leaders understand financial performance for their departments.
Give regional leaders a clear understanding of cost base and help drive cost management initiatives.
Assist Operations in developing and maintaining standard costing models.
Manage preparation of budget, forecast, latest estimate and follow up processes for G&A cost centers within Region Americas.
Help with capital investment cases and other ad hoc analysis, as required.
Monitor and enforce financial policies and procedures.
Requirements:
B.A. degree, or international equivalent; MBA, preferred
Ten years of related experience
Strong working knowledge of Manufacturing ERP systems and cost accounting best practices.
Thorough knowledge of the relationship between the balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows as well as the key value drivers in a company.
Solid leadership and human relations abilities.
Ability to organize, coordinate, and direct projects.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and technical skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI a plus.
Excellent understanding of Microsoft office package, key emphasis on Excel and Power Point.
