Business Systems Analysis Director directs all aspects of an organization's business systems. Plans and implements technological service strategies within a shared services environment to support business and user needs. Being a Business Systems Analysis Director acts as major liaison with other departments to identify the business system meets the enterprise's needs. Analyzes trends and uses complex data modeling to improve business performance. Additionally, Business Systems Analysis Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Systems Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Business Systems Analysis Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. In general, you will support the staff by:analyzing and interpreting data using scientific methods,assisting program areas to create data stories using statistical techniques,producing insightful dashboards and reports to answer questions about program data, andhelping to standardize data visualizations agency-wide to increase functional use of dashboards and reports.Technical Environment at the agency is Microsoft.NET (development) and Microsoft SQL Server (relational database). Microsoft Windows / Office Suite. QualificationsStrong candidates for this position will:Have expertise conducting statistical analyses of data using standard statistical techniques. Have expertise gathering functional specification requirements for the development of dashboards and reports.Have experience working with interactive data visualization products focused on business intelligence such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or similar products. Have experience with management of data to produce accurate and consistent longitudinal datasets. Have experience using Microsoft SQL Server to model data into datasets for consumption of business intelligence software. Have experience with anonymizing datasets in order to preserve data security and privacy.A Statement of Projects and 4 professional references will be required if selected to continue in the screening process.
