Business Systems Analysis Director directs all aspects of an organization's business systems. Plans and implements technological service strategies within a shared services environment to support business and user needs. Being a Business Systems Analysis Director acts as major liaison with other departments to identify the business system meets the enterprise's needs. Analyzes trends and uses complex data modeling to improve business performance. Additionally, Business Systems Analysis Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Systems Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     Position Summary
    As a Senior Manager of Business Systems Analysis at Oncourse Home Solutions, you'll join a rapidly expanding tech team, playing a crucial role in supporting ongoing and new initiatives that fuel business growth. Collaborate across various functional areas in our team-driven environment, benefiting from strong leadership and continuous growth opportunities within OHS and the Tech team. This leadership position demands strategic thinking, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and adept project and team management skills. Success requires being a highly motivated self-starter with technical prowess, analytical mindset, and the ability to turn concepts into actionable solutions.
     
    Located at our office in Naperville, IL or Mt. Laurel, NJ, our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (generally T-TH in office and M & F remote) is required.
     
    Responsibilities
    • Lead the Business Systems Analyst team in cultivating a culture of delivery excellence, fostering an action-oriented mindset, and managing complexity effectively.
    • Develop the team's capabilities and expertise in business systems and applications, enabling them to tackle challenges with confidence.
    • Build and nurture effective teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Navigate ambiguity adeptly, guiding the team through uncertain situations and fostering clarity of purpose.
    • Develop strategies to enhance the team's performance and efficiency, leveraging their expertise to drive impactful results. Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Business Systems Analyst team, fostering their growth and achievement.
    • Proactively address complex issues and obstacles, employing innovative approaches to overcome challenges and achieve success.
    • Innovate and employ value-added strategies to overcome project obstacles, drawing on analysis and experience.
    • Closely Collaborate with leadership from interdisciplinary teams to ensure E2E quality of project delivery.
    • Contribute to project planning, defining scopes, and allocating resources for timely technology solution delivery.
    • Proactively spot process gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, preemptively addressing obstacles to adoption and best practices.
    • Conduct documentation audits and develop strategies for continuous enhancement.
    • Implement industry best practices and standard operating procedures to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.
    • All OHS employees are required to: (1) read and strictly adhere to all compliance policies and procedures of the various OHS entities, as applicable; and (2) work together with their teammates to resolve compliance issues.

    Experience and Qualifications of the Role
    • Possess 12 years of technology experience with 5 years directly managing a team of technical business and systems analysts.
    • Proficient in visualizing and articulating concepts spontaneously, utilizing whiteboard sessions or cutting-edge tools, complemented by strong documentation skills using MS Visio for various diagrams.
    • Expertise in crafting effective user stories and epics, coupled with a deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies across Agile, waterfall, SAFe, and hybrid environments.
    • Mastery in utilizing tools such as JIRA, MS Visio, and O365 to streamline processes and enhance collaboration.
    • Highly adept at defining and documenting both functional and non-functional requirements within agile and waterfall software development frameworks.
    • Demonstrated ability to efficiently organize and oversee multiple company initiatives while fostering a similar approach among team members.
    • Strong familiarity with user-centric design principles, personas, user research methodologies, and associated tools.
    • Possess clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in written form.
    • Demonstrated traits of curiosity, self-motivation, and independence.
     
    Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
    • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suites
    • Proficiency in MS Visio
    • Strong expertise in JIRA and Confluence preferred
    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
    CBAP Preferred
     
    Education 
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent Required
