Business Process Specialist, Sr. researches, analyzes, and recommends changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Collects and studies operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Being a Business Process Specialist, Sr. develops process documentation and project plans. Creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams. Additionally, Business Process Specialist, Sr. supports cross-functional activities and working sessions during projects' design and implementation phases. Designs and prepares documentation, training materials, and communications supporting new processes. May deliver training to impacted business units. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Business Process Specialist, Sr. works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. - Purpose The primary purpose of this role is to analyze, improve, align and support operational business processes and their interactions with business software. Additionally, this role will support on-boardings, change management and lean manufacturing projects. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below. Areas of Focus Document business process flows using tools such as process mapping, surveys, histograms, and other Six Sigma tools. Prepare data for business case to support process or system modifications. Provide qualitative and quantitative data to support suggested alignment of workflows to achieve lean processes. Study operational flows to identify trends and opportunities for more efficient use or refinement of systems. Process change management requests. Produce ISO documentation and train users. Support systems on-boardings. Create and maintain modules in the company learning management systems. Partner with IT and Corp Business Systems on critical operational support, infrastructure projects and other initiatives. All other duties as assigned by Business Process Specialist Senior. Supervisory Responsibilities Not Applicable Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications Education: Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience Experience: Six Sigma certification preferred Process mapping experience preferred Software onboarding experience preferred ISO or other quality certification knowledge pre Gap analysis experience pre Continual Improvement teams experience preferred Leadership skills that can be displayed in a complex environment Ability to work independently and within teams across many different disciplines Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S Language: Proficiency in English required Work Environment / Conditions The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience, and therefore Must be adaptable to work in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office when on-stie at the plants. This is a work from home position with minimal travel to manufacturing facilities within the US.
