    Business Process Re-Engineering & Lean Specialist

    Seeking a Business Process Re-Engineering & Lean Specialist in Johnson City, TN at our Administration Office. Office hours are typically 8-5, Monday through Friday.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As a Business Process Reengineering and Lean Specialist, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in enhancing organizational performance through strategic process optimization. Key responsibilities include:

    • Defining, communicating, and enforcing clear priorities for business process re-engineering projects to align with organizational goals.
    • Facilitating collaboration across teams to ensure adherence to the planned workflow, schedules, and task completion within the business process re-engineering framework.
    • Providing expert consultation to designated organizational representatives, aiding in the meticulous redesign of business processes and procedures for optimal efficiency.
    • Applying change management and continuous improvement strategies, utilizing principles, tools, and best practices from industry leaders to foster sustainable organizational growth.
    • Verifying that re-engineered processes meet strict compliance standards with internal controls, policies, and procedures through thorough examination of records, reports, operational practices, and supporting documentation.
    • Conducting comprehensive gap analyses by functional area to pinpoint necessary adjustments in policies, processes, and procedures, facilitating effective re-engineering and implementation strategies.
    • Assessing the ramifications of systemic changes, advising on necessary process adaptations, and providing insights to inform decision-making processes.
    • Developing actionable recommendations based on identified gaps to offer both immediate and long-term strategic business solutions.
    • Leading regular stakeholder meetings to provide support, gather feedback, and align on objectives to ensure the achievement of project goals.
    • Organizing and conducting updates on workstream progress, addressing any roadblocks or issues through strategic recommendations.
    • Rigorously analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on project-specific issues and risks, establishing comprehensive risk mitigation strategies within given authority levels.

     

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, organizational development, computer science, information systems, or a closely allied field. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.

     

     

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Three years documenting step-by-step business processes and business process maps, leading group facilitation, gathering customer requirements, and performing gap analysis following industry standards and best practices.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio.

     

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    • Lean or Six Sigma certified.
