The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Sales Specialist within the department of Business Development. The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives. As part of the event management role, the division is responsible for the planning and execution of a wide range of University events from Commencement to concerts and special events on football game weekends. The division is a major contributor of revenue to the University's mission and employs the largest number of staff on campus with over 1,200 full-time, part-time, temporary, and on-call staff.

Why this position?
The (internal) Sales Specialist is responsible for the the booking and business development for various campus clients. The ideal candidate for this position will posses organizational skills, and will have the ability to display an energetic, and motivated work ethic. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, curiosity in problem solving and a solution-oriented mindset. This role is responsible for booking campus clients efficiently, this requires the ability to think clearly, analyze and problem solve. Prior hotel and/or hospitality experience is strongly preferred for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-4 years experience
• Experience in Sales, Hotel/Hospitality, Account Management, EMS, Salesforce
• Ability to multi-task and build relationships. Must possess strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.The ideal candidate for this position must have a strong appreciation of Notre Dame mission.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree (4 years)
