Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist (Accounting)

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of AP/AR experience

High degree of accuracy

Strong mathematical skills

Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping

Superb time management and detail orientation

Desire to learn and improve

Superior communication skills

Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities:

Gather and verify AP invoices for appropriate documentation prior to posting

Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger and cashbook

Verify AP/AR sub-ledgers to the balance sheet at month end

Support other accounting and finance team members

Assist with other tasks as needed
