    Specific Responsibilities of the Job:

    • Work closely with providers and staff to ensure timely billing processes.
    • Keeping inventory of all Medical Record Requests (Email)
    • Submitting Medical Records to requesting parties and insurance payers
    • Reviewing Medical Records and ensuring quality standards.
    • Accessing and maintaining EMR and Insurance Portals
    • Ensuring that Medical Records are submitted as needed and as soon as possible.
    • Working with billing team to ensure proper billing processes.
    • Ability to handle workload or daily productivity.
    • Responsible for providing support to the Billing Team.
    • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

    Skill Set:

    • Experience in EMR and Medical Record Workflow (preferred)
    • Knowledge in how to use multiple EMR systems (preferred)
    • Knowledge of Medical Documentation
    • Knowledge of Insurance Payer Portals
    • Knowledge of different Insurance Payers and Guidelines (preferred)
    • Experience in Medical Revenue Cycle and Medical Insurance appeal processes (preferred)
    • Ability to work quickly and accurately.
    • Ability to work independently with a high degree of attention to detail and reliable decision making.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • High school diploma or GED

    Experience:

    • Medical Record/EMR Experience (Preferred)

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $17.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
