Creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams. Additionally, Business Process Specialist supports cross-functional activities and working sessions during projects' design and implementation phases. Designs and prepares documentation, training materials, and communications supporting new processes. May deliver training to impacted business units. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Business Process Specialist work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. JOB SUMMARY:
This position serves the entire Agency and may also provide services to school districts within the region or districts that have contracted with the Agency for Fiscal Services. Incumbents are responsible for performing accounting support activities in an assigned section, such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Contract/Grant Management, Administrative Assistant or Payroll, and general support to other Fiscal areas as needed.
DUTIES:
This is not an exhaustive or all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills, duties or functions associated with the job.Review and oversight of all grant reports for agency with Chief Financial Officer/Director of Business Services.Collaborate with agency administrative support staff to create contracts from templates and route for digital signatures using document digital signing software.Acts in role of administrative assistant for Chief Financial Officer, and coordinates clerical help when assigned, including scheduling travel arrangements.Point of contact for administrative assistants in other programs.Manages and tracks department credit cards, travel reimbursement, and orders office and department supplies.Manages logistics of various special events, including food, location, supplies, equipment, and etc.Manages deadlines and requirements in a fast-paced, demanding context with the ability to self-manage and direct as needed.Completes required reports, other paperwork and/or database entries in a timely and acceptable manner.Composes and prepares pertinent correspondence, reports, minutes, and memoranda in appropriate format, applying knowledge of established departmental procedures and functions.Receives and distributes mail, supplies, and other materials for department.Completes department-specific tasks and projects as directed by supervisor.
