Business Process Specialist researches, analyzes, and recommends changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Collects and studies operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Being a Business Process Specialist develops process documentation and project plans. Creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams. Additionally, Business Process Specialist supports cross-functional activities and working sessions during projects' design and implementation phases. Designs and prepares documentation, training materials, and communications supporting new processes. May deliver training to impacted business units. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Business Process Specialist work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.     Description :

    Develop standards and automated controls to help ensure a quality, reliable, and consistent intranet experience from the admins to content creators to end users.

    Create automations with Power Suite and document new processes :

    Audit site owners / contributors; replace inactive

    Audit SharePoint list database and update / archive as needed

    site content audits

    New owner / contributor onboarding

    Work with Learning & Development team to migrate site owner / contributor training into their platform and communicate new training requirements to assigned employees.

    Work with Subject Matter Experts to clarify process flows.

    Complete tasks from start to finish (, define scope, execution, documentation, knowledge transfer).

    Work with new site owners on development and ensure they are understanding / meeting intranet standards; identify areas of process that can be automated and execute.

    Microsoft Office (required)

    Microsoft SharePoint (required)

    Power BI (preferred)

    Process Mapping and Documenting (required)

    Excellent verbal and written communcation skills (preferred)

    Work with high level concept and form into fully functioning solution (required)

    Work with new intranet stakeholders to conform their site content to meet standards (required)

    Education :

    Associates degree and five years of experience, or at least seven years of related working experience.
