Conducts research on best practices and industry trends for the business. Being a Business Process Optimization Manager oversees the in-depth analysis of existing workflows. Utilizes flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement. Position Summary:
The Associate Business Unit Manager focuses heavily on value creation, including value-based pricing, productivity, and profitable new business to create real intrinsic value. The successful candidate will grow into a future position where they will lead a cross-functional Business Unit Team (Sales, Operations, and Engineering). The candidate will be responsible for assisting in managing Bookings, Profit and Loss accountability, contract negotiations, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and overseeing operating activities to ensure cost objectives are met.
Additionally, the Associate Business Unit Manager will be responsible for the initial planning and implementation of the second Business Unit at Pexco. This Business Unit is still under development, but is likely to be related to PMA, Engineering Services, and Pexco created Intellectual Property.
The Associate Business Unit Manager reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The Associate BUM role is a definitive step towards senior management positions within TransDigm Group.
