Business Process Optimization Manager manages teams that study and develop optimization changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Conducts research on best practices and industry trends for the business. Being a Business Process Optimization Manager oversees the in-depth analysis of existing workflows. Utilizes flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement. Additionally, Business Process Optimization Manager engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups to collect inputs. Implements the tools required to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions. Introduces new business processes to the organization and produces documentation, tools, and training to support adoption. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Process Optimization Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     Job Purpose and Overview

    The People Team Optimization Manager is a strategic role designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the People function globally, directly reporting to the Director of People, Global Functions & Organization Effectiveness. This role involves analyzing current People Team practices, processes, and technologies, and recommending improvements to drive performance and support the organization's strategic goals.

    This is a hybrid role in Jackson, MI. To be considered for this role, candidates must be located in Jackson, MI or surrounding areas.

    What will you do as an Optimization Managerat Dawn Foods?

    • Build and lead workstream to develop and implement People Services Center for Dawn Foods People Team.
    • Conduct comprehensive audits of People processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization within the People Services Center.
    • Advise on organizational design and structure to ensure they are optimized for performance and growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams to align HR strategies and processes with organizational objectives.
    • Manage projects to re-engineer People processes, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with best practices.
    • Facilitate change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies.
    • Stay abreast of trends and best practices in People technology, process optimization, and organizational development.
    • Continuously monitor system performance and user feedback to ensure ongoing optimization and effectiveness.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties as assigned or requested.
    • Demonstrate the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and support the Dawn Circle of Excellence.

    What Does It Take to be an Optimization Manager at Dawn Foods?

    Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in an HR optimization or process improvement role.
    • Experience implementing or optimizing HR systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
    • Strong understanding of HR operations, systems (SuccessFactors preferred), and best practices.
    • Experience with HR technology optimization required.
    • Proven track record in leading successful HR process improvement projects.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to lead change and drive innovation in HR practices.
    • Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.

    $102,640-$169,350 withan annual bonus potential
