Business Process Optimization Manager manages teams that study and develop optimization changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Conducts research on best practices and industry trends for the business. Being a Business Process Optimization Manager oversees the in-depth analysis of existing workflows. Utilizes flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement. Additionally, Business Process Optimization Manager engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups to collect inputs. Implements the tools required to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions. Introduces new business processes to the organization and produces documentation, tools, and training to support adoption. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Process Optimization Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Process Optimization Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Qualifications

    Required
    • 3 years of experience in digital marketing with an emphasis on SEO
    • Minimum of 1 year SEO experience with on-site optimization and copywriting
    • A clear understanding of how SEO fits into a larger online marketing strategy and interacts with other marketing tactics
    • Experience managing 4 client relationships simultaneously
    • Stellar written and verbal communication skills shown in navigating emotionally charged conversations, creating clarity in emails, creating meaningful dialogue during presentations, etc.
    Preferred
    • Relevant Certifications: Google Analytics
    • Prior experience with Lead Generation and E-Commerce businesses
    Responsibilities

    Keyword Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value and relevant keywords for product pages.
    • Analyze competitor keywords and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve.
    On-Page Optimization:
    • Optimize product pages for search engines, strategically placing content, meta tags, and headers to be keyword-rich.
    • Implement schema markup and other on-page SEO techniques to enhance search engine visibility.
    Technical SEO:
    • Collaborate with the development team to ensure the website's technical infrastructure is SEO-friendly.
    • Monitor website performance, address crawl issues, and improve site speed.
    • Skills: HTML/CSS, Basic Javascript, WordPress, common Ecommerce CMS (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento etc.), Google Analytics (Goals, Attribution, Funnels), Google Tag Manager, Office Suites (Slides/PowerPoint, Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel), SEMrush, BrightLocal, Ahrefs, etc.
    Content Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with SEO goals, covering product descriptions, blog posts, and other relevant content.
    • Optimize content for search engines and user experience.
    Link Building:
    • Execute effective link-building strategies to increase the authority and credibility of the online store.
    • Identify and pursue relevant opportunities for backlink acquisition.
    SEO Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Use analytics tools to track and analyze key performance indicators, providing regular reports on SEO performance.
    • Identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
    Stay Informed on Industry Trends:
    • Keep abreast of industry changes, search engine algorithms, and emerging SEO trends.
    • Apply new knowledge to continually improve the client’s business site's SEO performance.
    Sales/Product Reporting & Analysis:
    • Ensure data accuracy, organization, and timely reporting.
    • Generate daily reports on sales, profit margins, and product performance.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
    The Strategist’s main KPI is Managed Revenue, defined as the revenue paid to Rocket Clicks by clients for Organic Search services, shared among the participating team members. Each Strategist is expected to manage $30,000 in revenue. The exact Managed Revenue expectations will fluctuate due to company conditions and will be visible and communicated regularly to the Strategist.
