Business Process Optimization Manager manages teams that study and develop optimization changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Conducts research on best practices and industry trends for the business. Being a Business Process Optimization Manager oversees the in-depth analysis of existing workflows. Utilizes flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement. Additionally, Business Process Optimization Manager engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups to collect inputs. Implements the tools required to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions. Introduces new business processes to the organization and produces documentation, tools, and training to support adoption. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Process Optimization Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Process Optimization Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Our client is looking to hire a Business Process Specialist for their Columbus, OH or Battle Creek, MI office. The Business Process Specialist is responsible for the functional/technical analysis and testing of SAP components. The Business Process Specialist is involved in enhancement work of SAP modules and those that interface with other applications.
Responsibilities:- Work with Client, team members and executives on and across the project team.
- Plan and execute all required process steps as defined in our methodologies.
- Provide SAP application support in a timely manner.
- Identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the SAP application.
- Analyze, design and test break/fix requests and enhancements to SAP modules.
- Gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
- Develop system specifications for SAP components.
- Design SAP components to functional and technical programming standards.
- Provide support toward installation of application releases into production as directed.
- Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews / walk-throughs.
- Create operational documentation for the SAP application.
- Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status.
- Continuously develop industry knowledge and associated skills.
Requirements- Education/Experience:
- 2 year degree
- Experience:
- With Degree: Any SAP Experience
- Without Degree: Five (5) years of SAP experience in one or more of the following modules
- MM - Materials Management
- PP - Production Planning
- WM - Warehouse Management
- OF - Order Fulfillment
- IM - Inventory Management
- FI - Financial
- 1 year of experience with MS Office
- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Secret Clearance
- Certification:
- Possess the Agile Fundamentals (ICP) certification or other relevant SAP certifications
