Summary/Objective:
This position provides supervision for the Environmental Services Department, ensuring quality results. The Environmental Services Supervisor will assist the Environmental Services Director in managing the department staff, meeting with residents and staff. He or she will actively participate in the onsite facility’s goals and objectives.

Qualifications
Competencies:
Customer Service Oriented.
Basic EVS/Housekeeping Knowledge.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position must provide supervision for all aspects of the Environmental Services Department.
Work Environment:
This position requires lifting, up to fifty pounds (50lbs).
Physical Demands:
The Environmental Services Supervisor stands and walks intermittently throughout the working day, as well as reaches, stoops, bends, lifts, and carries supplies and equipment. The EVS Supervisor must have the ability to work with chemicals/cleaning agents and must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds (50lbs).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an hourly position, with expected hours to include: days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.

Required Education and Experience:
The Environmental Services Supervisor must have a well-rounded prior working knowledge of the EVS/Housekeeping industry.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Previous 1-3 years’ experience in Healthcare or Long-Term Care Management is recommended.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write and understand English.
Must be in good mental and physical condition.
Must possess leadership qualities and be able to supervise and secure the cooperation of the EVS personnel.
Must be able to work productively with other management personnel.

Hourly Rate: $16-$18/hr
