NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPEMENT AND PROJECT MANAGER

JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME
JOB PURPOSE:
Builds market position by locating, developing, negotiating, and establishing business relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Market to local and state businesses with a potential need for related products and services.
- Focus marketing and sales efforts by analysis of market and project opportunities.
- Develop strategies and actions by analyzing potential clients, competition, project requirements and resources.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations and proposals by analyzing and understanding client needs, requirements, and objectives.
- Promote and secure orders and projects from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
- Make telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Services existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing clients and/or potential new opportunities.
- Manage projects effectively and efficiently, to include stakeholders, schedule, supply chain, costs, and internal team.
- Understand and coordinate the timelines of various project aspects.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office
- An understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- Customer service, time management, prospecting skills, self-confidence, and client relationships
- Presentation skills
- Motivation for sales
- Prefer Project Management Certification
