BOM & HR Director Position Summary
The Business Office Manager & Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing the business office, billing, resident funds, etc. as well as oversee employee relations, personnel records, onboarding, and recruitment. Their role also includes the following responsibilities:
· Assist in financial review of referrals and obtain authorizations as needed and work with residents and families to discuss facility rates, billing and payment terms, and Medicaid applications.
· Keep up with monthly Medicaid, Medicare, and Managed Care insurance billing and follow-up with intermediaries on delinquent payments.
· Accumulate and maintain vital statistics relating to admissions, discharges, expirations, transfers, and daily census of facility residents.
· Maintain financial records including cash receipts, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll journal, and general ledger as directed.
· Prepare accurate employee personnel records, onboard and orient new employees, etc.
Perform payroll duties for facility employees.
· Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator, or the corporate team.
· Maintain confidentiality of protected information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

· Business Degree or experience in a healthcare facility
· Experience working in Human Resources
· Must know Tennessee Medicaid, Medicare, and Managed Care insurances
· Experienced in long-term care
