General Description / Purpose:
The Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois is looking for a talented and ambitious person to join its Business Relations sales team. The role of the Business Relations Sales Specialist is to reach out to eligible businesses, located within Chicago/N. Illinois, and better educate them about the value of becoming a BBB Accredited Business before seeing them through the application process.
Duties and Responsibilities: include the following, but are not limited to:
Your role is essentially to get our business owners to make a decision on BBB Accreditation, either "yes" or "no." Not all businesses can become accredited, and not all businesses should, so your role is to help the businesses owners who should become accredited, become accredited! You are expected to reach out to 50-75 business owners per day to ensure that you are putting yourself in the best position possible to submit at least 12 BBB Accreditation applications per month. You will be using a mix of blue, your own self sourcing and/or manager provided leads to call.
We are looking for a self-motivated, success/money driven person who is looking to maximize their time and earning potential. Being a natural conversationalist who enjoys speaking with new people is key to the role.
