    About the job:
    • Business Intelligence Developer to support a large scale, long-term project with the US Navy’s Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA) in Norfolk, VA
       
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, implement, and maintain, within an Agile environment:
      • Business intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense
      • Customer facing data sets using Qlik Catalog
      • ETL jobs using Qlik Replicate/Compose
    • Gather reporting, dashboard, and metric requirements
    • Design and create data visualizations, analytical reports, and dashboards:
      • Integration with an existing Navy application
      • Development of new Navy applications
      • Answering ad-hoc data calls
    • Test and validate data in reports developed within the team.
    • Participate in resolving technical issues that arise during development.
    • Communicate and coordinate with members of the development team to work across multiple projects.
    • Assist with documentation for IT technical processes and software user guides
    • Other duties as assigned or required

    About you:
    • Experience designing and developing business intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense, Tableau, or similar required
    • Experience in an Agile development environment utilizing tools such as JIRA and Confluence (or comparable tools from other vendors).

    Preferred Skills:
      • ETL and Data Modeling
      • Oracle or SQL
      • Qlik QDI
      • APIs
      • Working on government funded programs


    Security Clearance:
    Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.


    Travel:
    Up to 10% travel to Norfolk, VA will be required.

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred

    Salary Range:  $125,000 - $150,000 additional 25% SEP and 12.5% IBA
