    About the Role
    We are currently seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Data and Analytics team, reporting directly to the Global Director of Information Systems. This is a hands-on role requiring a leader who can not only manage but also actively participate in the development and execution of data strategies.
    The ideal candidate will manage a diverse team, including Analysts, BI Developers, Data Engineers, and an offshore team, and will be pivotal in driving the success of our data-driven initiatives.


    What You’ll Do

    • Lead and mentor a diverse team of data professionals, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support in delivering high-quality analytics solutions.

    • Demonstrated project management experience with a proven ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

    • Develop and implement data analytics strategies in alignment with the company's objectives, leveraging data for business optimization and growth.

    • Hands-on involvement in building and maintaining robust data pipelines, ensuring efficient and scalable data processing.

    • Collaborate with key departments such as Finance, Operations, Sales, and HR, integrating analytics solutions into various business processes and meeting departmental data needs.

    • Responsible for rolling out and maintaining the Business Intelligence (BI) KPI dashboard, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business and provides actionable insights for decision-making.

    • Establish and maintain proper Business Intelligence change management and governance processes, ensuring the BI ecosystem remains agile, reliable, and aligned with business objectives

    • Stay current with advancements in data analytics tools and technologies, evaluating and integrating new tools to enhance team capabilities.

    • Create and present detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.

    • Establish and enforce governance policies and strategies for data management and report generation, ensuring data quality and compliance.

    • Work closely with the ERP data management team to ensure the governance and strategic utilization of enterprise data, including systems such as Infor, while supporting the implementation of data mesh and data governance tools

    • Work closely with senior management to align data analytics initiatives with the broader business strategy, contributing to long-term planning for data capabilities.




    What You'll Bring

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology-related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

    • Proven experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity.

    • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, including expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines.

    • Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Google Cloud Dataflow, and similar technologies.

    • Experience working in an agile environment, with a thorough understanding of sprint processes and agile planning methodologies.

    • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools such as Domo, PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Snowflake, Redshift, Jupyter Notebook, etc.

    • Expert-level knowledge of SQL and Python scripting for complex data analysis and automation.

    • Demonstrated database management and data modeling skills, understanding their implications on data analytics.

    • Proven ability to establish governance and strategy for data and report management.

    • Experience with documentation tools such as Guru or Confluence, ensuring clear and effective documentation of data analytics processes and governance policies.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data insights into understandable terms.

    • Demonstrated leadership capability with experience in leading and motivating a team.

    What We Offer

    The salary range for this role is [$130,000 to $160,000 USD 10% Bonus] however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
