The Business Intelligence Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of reports that are executed on an automated subscription schedule or on demand by users in various business areas. You will become familiar with data and business processes supported by the data warehouse and operational computer applications as needed to support report development and resolve technical issues. You will be working independently and within a team and will be responsible for tracking the work assigned to reporting team members, resolve technical issues and estimate and schedule tasks. Business matters will be treated with the utmost urgency and focus on results and deadlines until each task or project is completed is key. The qualified candidate will display excellent problem solving, analytical, communication, coordination, and task management skills. Daily activities will include reviewing existing production reports, participating in daily planning meetings, providing estimates, handling ad-hoc requests, and tracking and communicating daily progress on projects and initiatives. This position will also take on various responsibilities throughout the department as assigned. Days of work are Monday through Friday. The daily schedule may vary from 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm. Hours may vary or exceed 40 in any given week depending on the needs of the business.
