    Role at a Glance

    As Paystand's Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization operates efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with team leads and represent the COO in various contexts. This pivotal role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including serving as an advisor, handling administrative tasks, spearheading strategic projects, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring clear communication throughout the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with team leads in the COO org to ensure projects and initiatives are executed on time.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the team's efficiency.
    • Ensure the COO's time is optimally utilized by organizing and prioritizing meetings, tasks, and initiatives.
    • Act as the primary liaison between the COO, various department heads, and other stakeholders to foster synergy and facilitate a problem-solving mentality.
    • Act and lead a champion of a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
    • Foster open team communication, leverage collective expertise and ensure alignment with company goals.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and effective execution of initiatives.
    • Implement project management best practices to monitor progress and identify potential risks or delays.
    • Ensure efficient and effective team communication, maintaining clarity, responsiveness, and mutual understanding.
    • Prepare and disseminate operational reports and executive summaries to inform the COO and other key players of status and progress.
    • Streamline operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
    • Evaluate current operational strategies and suggest improvements based on industry trends and emerging technologies.
    • Establish and maintain a consistent reporting structure that clarifies progress, challenges, and achievements.
    • Synthesize information to provide the COO with succinct, actionable insights.
    • Provide feedback and insights to the COO based on operational observations.
    • Contribute to strategic planning sessions, offering a ground-level perspective on operational feasibility and challenges.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations management role, preferably in the fintech industry.
    • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and projects.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
    • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
    • Deep commitment to organizational excellence and continuous improvement.
