Business Intelligence Manager manages a business intelligence team centered on providing insight and aiding in business decision-making. Plans projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions.      What you’ll be doing…

    Our customers rely on us for the best network and customer experience. You are responsible for uncovering the root cause(s) behind performance of Verizon Home Internet. As part of the Customer Experience Organization (CXO), you’ll be tasked with analyzing data and presenting insights. With your analytical, big data and reporting expertise, you’ll provide the information that will guide strategy and decision making across our business. You will be analyzing and gathering information about what’s going on across our lines of business and transforming data into insights and recommendations to improve performance. You will work on identifying the strategic direction, planning, and execution of your team's findings and working with team members inside this organization as well as cross-functional partners to ensure actions are taken on these opportunities, evolving insights to action. 

    You will be leading the business forecasting plan using a combination of historical data and evolving product, program, and marketplace drivers; working with a team with various levels of experience to carry out the analysis and reporting. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Create, drive and provide oversight of effective and accurate measurement and presentation of a customer’s end to end experience through all channels for Home products.  Presenting complex concepts and results to multiple partners.

    • Research competition and apply critical thinking to identify threats and opportunities, and develop proposals to create business opportunities based on this information.

    • Manage the development of simulation and outcome models aligned to our market and against competitive analysis. 

    • Conduct financial modeling by performing what-if scenarios to better provide answers and understanding of the impact of each financial decision or investments.

    • Collaborate with project managers and analytical teams from Marketing, Product, Systems and Platforms, Digital operations (app/vzw.com), Customer Experience, Global Technology Solutions (IT), and platform / AI solution vendors influencing technology roadmaps / solution design

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience

    • Six or more years of relevant work experience

    • Data management, analysis and visualization experience

    • Experience analyzing complex data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to multiple partners

    • Cross functional project management experience

    • Familiar in Data Warehouse 

    • Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, Smart Sheets, AI analytics tools and Tableau/Thoughtspot/Qlik

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • Master’s degree. Ideally, a M.S. or MBA

    • Built reports, dashboards, and presentations to highlight key metrics to partners in different functions and levels

    • Managed multiple complex high-visibility projects with multiple partners

    • Technical experience with SQL, Teradata, Tableau, Java, Python

    If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $107,000.00 and $198,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
