Business Intelligence Manager manages a business intelligence team centered on providing insight and aiding in business decision-making. Plans projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions.     Job Description:
    At Regions, the Business Intelligence Manager leads a team that is responsible for designing and implementing data and analytic solutions that provide a robust business intelligence framework.

    Primary Responsibilities
    Advises leadership on how BI processes, practices and technologies that play a critical role in improving business management and optimization
    Directs, organizes, and leads work stream projects with the use of BI software tools and systems
    Plans, tests, and executes projects and supports day-to-day operations
    Stays abreast of BI products/tools and business strategy/direction
    Interprets data to provide insights to drive actions to increase efficiency and growth
    Assesses validity of business strategy recommendations against trend data
    Evaluates composite information in relation to its impact on decision-making and strategic implications
    Prepares information and makes presentations to various audiences including the executive, senior and mid-level managers and associates
    Reviews cost benefit for realization, measures key performance indicators and identifies impacts
    Provides subject matter expertise for key BI core functions
    Works on complex, cross functional business intelligence solutions
    Partners with data teams within the bank to ensure data is tracked consistently and holistically
    Serves as a subject matter expert and acts as a data liaison for the business unit and stays abreast of BI products/tools and of business strategies and direction

    This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

    Requirements
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field
    Six (6) years of project management, systems management, data intelligence operations, or related experience

    Preferences
    Prior experience in a financial institution
    Prior experience in a management/supervisory role within Analytics, Business Intelligence, and/or Data Warehouse Management

    Skills and Competencies
    Familiarity with implementation procedures and reporting tools
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
    Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
    Strong work ethic and self-motivation

    This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

    Compensation Details
    Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

    The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

    Job Range Target:
    Minimum: $107,621.60 USD
    Median: $142,410.00 USD
    Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.
