We are seeking an experienced Sr IT Director, Business Intelligence to join our dynamic team in Durham, NC. With a decade of expertise in Information Technology, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our data and analytics capabilities. In this position, you'll engage daily with Senior Vice Presidents, leveraging your extensive experience to present insights and informatics solutions aligned with our strategic initiatives. Working closely with corporate leadership, you'll champion informatics-based efforts and drive a prioritized roadmap of projects, ensuring alignment with business opportunities and company strategy. Your role within the Informatics team of Corporate IT will entail overall responsibility for the strategy and implementation of business intelligence at Labcorp.
Responsibilities:
Daily interaction and presentations with Senior Vice Presidents to present insights and informatics solutions aligned with strategic initiatives
Champion informatics-based efforts and drive a prioritized roadmap of projects in alignment with business opportunities and company strategy
Manage a team of Business Intelligence specialists and domain experts, fostering a collaborative environment
Utilize agile analytics methods to generate actionable insights efficiently
Build and own automation frameworks to showcase reliable, accurate, easy-to-understand metrics and operational KPIs
Develop new data models and pipelines, overseeing their design, building, and launching in production
Spearhead the rollout of business intelligence services internally and externally
Provide guidance and mentorship to managers, tech-leads, and individual contributors
Manage vendor relationships, including setup of agreements and statements of work
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, or data science
10 years of experience building and leading data platform teams
Executive-level experience in hiring and mentoring top talent in Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics
Proficiency in Tableau and PowerBI
Excellent executive presence, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with uncertainty
Experience working with large teams, this role will manage 15
Background in the healthcare domain
