Business Development Supervisor identifies, evaluates, and pursues business opportunities with partners or potential customers. Coordinates and negotiates with other departments to implement marketing initiatives. Being a Business Development Supervisor is responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients. Acquires new customers, retains and expands existing customer relationships. Additionally, Business Development Supervisor develops sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommends modifications to the product/service line, and coordinates sales negotiations with appropriate personnel. Responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Development Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Entrepreneur Development Student Internship
The Entrepreneur Development Student Intern will provide support to help strengthen and develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Wyoming. You will work closely with organizational leaders, Wyoming entrepreneurs and startups, and partners to design and coordinate efforts that foster a robust entrepreneurial system in Wyoming. In this role, you will assist with outreach, resource development, and identifying program enhancements while learning about Wyoming's entrepreneur network and partners.

All internships are paid, year-round positions (May 2024 - May 2025). Hours are expected to be no more than 40 hours per week during the summer months and will scale back during the school year to no more than 15 hours per week. In the interest of building strong relationships, and developing a cohesive understanding of WBC's efforts, interns are expected to work in the Cheyenne office during the summer months. Remote work during the academic school year may be an option based on demonstrated performance. Interns working remotely should be prepared to work from home with a suitable internet connection.
