Business Development Supervisor identifies, evaluates, and pursues business opportunities with partners or potential customers. Coordinates and negotiates with other departments to implement marketing initiatives. Being a Business Development Supervisor is responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients. Acquires new customers, retains and expands existing customer relationships. Additionally, Business Development Supervisor develops sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommends modifications to the product/service line, and coordinates sales negotiations with appropriate personnel. Responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Development Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     ROLE SUMMARY

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing technology company. Inspired Technology is New England’s premier Audio/Video & Security Company based in North Easton, MA. The Commercial Channel BDM primary objective is to prospect and acquire new commercial customers. The ideal candidate for this position has knowledge of integration and control systems, unified communications, and related networking in commercial environments.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Be part of a high-performing team and culture for the purpose of achieving company goals with consistent results.
    • Build and maintain customer partnerships.
    • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on current and upcoming products and solutions
    • Business development champion. Build and maintain a diverse and fluent pipeline generating sustained revenue growth.
    • Present integrated solutions to end-consumers and industry groups.
    • Work with project managers to develop a project plan and timetable.
    • Participate in manufacturing trainings and certifications
    • Be a brand ambassador with the ability to practice strong business acumen.
    • Effective communication leader with internal and external partners.
    • Attend networking events and Inspired sponsored events.
