Business Development Supervisor identifies, evaluates, and pursues business opportunities with partners or potential customers. Coordinates and negotiates with other departments to implement marketing initiatives. Being a Business Development Supervisor is responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients. Acquires new customers, retains and expands existing customer relationships. Additionally, Business Development Supervisor develops sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommends modifications to the product/service line, and coordinates sales negotiations with appropriate personnel. Responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Development Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Daily Business Development Trainee Responsibilities:

    • Supervises the day-to-day operations and performance of the team to provide the highest level of customer service for the customer.
    • Understands the overarching company strategy, as well as communicates and models the core values of the organization, to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employees.
    • Educates new potential customers on sales promotions, services, and the benefits of our brand vs the competition.
    • Handles customer concerns and ensures an appropriate resolution.
    • Attend and participate in-office meetings to increase sales margins and improve customer satisfaction rating.
    • Provides product feedback to their senior Business Development Trainee, including recommendations regarding improving the consumer experience and product/service packages.
    • Complies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data.

    Minimum Business Development Trainee Requirements:

    • 1-3 years of prior knowledge in a Leadership role, Entry-Level Management, Customer Service, Sales, or Client Relations is preferred.
    • Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields of study.
    • Roles in leadership positions and/or teams in school and at work.
    • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • High-energy, self-motivated team player with the ability to multitask.
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
    • Personable people who have built strong and lasting relationships with others.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,800.00 per month

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift
    • Day shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • Weekends as needed

    Ability to Relocate:

    • Boston, MA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
