Business Development Supervisor identifies, evaluates, and pursues business opportunities with partners or potential customers. Coordinates and negotiates with other departments to implement marketing initiatives. Being a Business Development Supervisor is responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients. Acquires new customers, retains and expands existing customer relationships. Additionally, Business Development Supervisor develops sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommends modifications to the product/service line, and coordinates sales negotiations with appropriate personnel. Responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Development Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be scheduling appointments with customers to discuss the purchase of a vehicle with our Product Specialists. You will follow-up using phone, email and text messaging. Attention to detail is very important. There is no cold calling in this position. Our customers have already expressed an interest in our dealership. You will receive extensive, on-going training in this position. We invest in your success!
IMPORTANT SCHEDULE INFORMATION:
You must be able to work a combination of morning, evening and weekend shifts to be considered for this position. We close on most Sundays but you need to be available to work on the last Sunday of the month and occasional Sundays throughout the year. COMPENSATION:
Compensation for this position is $50,000 - $100,000 per year with the average pay in 2021 for this position at $68,000 and our top performer made over $130,000! Blue Cross Blue Shield medical and dental coverage starts on Day 1 of employment with a 401K plan starting after 90 days.
