    We are looking for a qualified professional to fill our open Business Development Officer position at our corporate headquarters in Arnold, Missouri.


    The focus of this position is to develop and build funnel-filling activity by networking with current and prospective employee partners, working within the community at various outreach events, and ultimately bringing new members to Arsenal Credit Union. The Business Development Officer will develop and track an engagement routine throughout our membership region and meet with businesses to do on-site visits with their employees in order to grow relationships with local businesses and increase our membership.


    There is a possibility for a hybrid work arrangement after six months of employment.


    What will you be responsible for? 

    • Develop and implement a consistent calling plan to increase penetration and develop new growth in the communities we serve.
    • Identify cross-selling opportunities and services through all avenues (in-person, virtual, telephone, email,      etc.).
    • Research opportunities to learn new selling techniques, products, and market trends to maintain elevated product knowledge and a competitive landscape.
    • Represent the credit union at various community, public, social, and business functions to develop business opportunities and build awareness and community image.
    • Provide monthly reporting on business development and sales funnel-filling activities.
    • Work with the Marketing Department to develop promotional material.

    Requirements

    What skills does this position require? 

    • A business-related degree or equivalent business development experience in a prospecting/incentive-based environment.
    • Two to four years of experience in sales, service, and/or the financial industry.
    • Impromptu public speaking ability.
    • High level of tenacity, initiative,  and self-motivation.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
