    As a Member of the Sales Team, you will be responsible for developing new customers through direct sales and building relationships. This involves visiting local businesses, engaging with various community events, and diligently pursuing leads from our Customer Management system via cold calling. Adeptness in setting up initial meetings with potential clients will serve as the gateway to introducing our products and services. Serve as a knowledgeable resource, addressing client inquiries about our products, services, and pricing, while collaborating with different departments within Taylored Systems to craft personalized technology proposals. Conducting site surveys when needed to gather a better scope of what products are needed and where they will be installed is essential in providing the most efficient and personalized proposal. Following project completion, you’ll circle back to our clients, reinforcing our commitment to satisfaction and solidifying long-term relationships with businesses.

    As a Business Development Manager, your job functions will be:

    • Develop new clients by visiting businesses in the area, attending various local events, and cold calling any leads that come through our Customer Management system.
    • Set up initial meetings with new clients to present our products and services.
    • Address potential technology needs for clients.
    • Answer client questions about products, services, and prices.
    • Work with other departments within Taylored Systems on technology proposals.
    • Conduct site surveys as necessary.
    • Follow up with clients after the job has been fully completed to ensure satisfaction.

    What you will bring to the table is:

    • Knowledge of various technology products and services.
    • Ability to organize, present, and close business to business technology sales.
    • Ability to maintain client accounts in our Customer Management Database.
    • Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Education:

    • Business to Business Sales Experience
    • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent

    The Business Development Manager will receive a base pay partnered with a commission plan, and benefits that begin after 90 days of employment.
