Business Development Director directs the execution of the business development vision, strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. Identifies and evaluates new markets, partners, channels, and customers. Being a Business Development Director develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes. Oversees the development of proposals and contracts for new business opportunities and manages negotiations. Nambe Pueblo Development Corporation (NPDC) is seeking an Executive Director to lead its business development efforts in Cuyamungue, New Mexico. NPDC is a federally chartered corporation, wholly owned by the Nambe Pueblo Tribe, and serves as the sole economic development corporation for the Tribe. NPDC is governed by a Board of Directors (BOD) appointed by Tribal Council.
The Executive Director reports to the Board and leads NPDC’s business development efforts including strategic and business planning development and execution, staff management and leadership, and financial and operational management and reporting.
The Executive Director holds full responsibility and is the primary point of contact for the operations of NPDC’s corporate office and enterprises in support of the Corporation’s vision, strategic plan, operating and business plans, and annual budget as approved by the BOD and Tribal Council.
Midpoint pay for the position is $126,000. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
