Business Development Director - Biotech supports top management by providing analysis for evaluating new business opportunities such as in/out licensing, collaborative research and development agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions. Oversees business development activities through subordinate managers. Being a Business Development Director - Biotech requires an MBA and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Business Development Director - Biotech relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.     Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Drive Sales Growth
    • Set Sales Priorities, Execute and Track Results
    • Increase Sales of Existing Products in Existing Markets
    • Identify New Markets and Execute Plans to Market to Them
    • Assist in Prioritizing Existing Product Development and Provide Input on New Product Development
    • Manage Customer Service, Senior Sales, & Marketing Departments
    • Manage Sponsorships & Endorsements with Input from Other Senior Management
    • Manage Customer & Sales Data to Ensure Accuracy
    • Collect, Review, & Analyze Data on Markets and Sales Channels
    • Use Data to Create Reports Analyzing Success of Campaigns
    • Propose Marketing Ideas and Collaborate with Other Departments to Efficiently Execute
    • Some Travel Required

    Qualifications:

    • 4 Year Degree Preferred in a Relevant Field
    • Prior Experience with Sales, Marketing, and Management
    • Ability to Effectively Manage People and Work Well with Others
    • Experience with Data Collection and Reporting Results
    • Must be able to demonstrate the use of data analysis to create a sales campaign and quantify the results
    • Positive Attitude
    • Passion to Succeed
